An introduction on Design Systems - ADUX August Community Meetup

Join us for an hour long discussion with Jacob Olenick on design systems and how to best implement them in organizations!

Jacob is currently a product design lead at Credit One Bank, and has previously held roles at organizations such as Cisco, Wells Fargo, and Paramount+ Jacob spends a considerable amount of time mentoring and creating content for other designers across various platforms.

In this session, we will have a casual conversation where we unpack what design systems are, how to go about making one, and challenges towards implementing them. Guests are welcome to bring their own questions too and we will have ample time for Q&A.

• A 1 hour casual chat held over Zoom.
• After our session we will host a 30 minute Q&A on all things Design Systems.
• The session will be recorded and can be accessed later

About Aadil

I am a Greater Toronto Area based user experience designer and researcher. 

I have had the opportunity to work on products with hundreds of thousands of users and have operated at the highest level of design, servicing customers ranging from bootstrapping startups, to billion+ dollar generating companies. 

Not only do I provide step by step solutions throughout the entire design process, I can also provide both quantitative and qualitative UX Research services. 

This includes research planning, facilitation, and presentation. I can work with you to find the right balance that matches your budget and needs while ensuring we gather the right insights to make the correct design decisions. I am also an award winning UX mentor.

I focus on putting design strategy behind everything I do. I currently work @ IBM as a design researcher and am a UX lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University as well as George Brown College
